Resolution 1

The AGM is asked to consider moving the plot rental year from October 1st to January 1st 2010. To achieve this proposed change the rent collected in October 2008 would be for 15 rather than the usual 12 months to cover the period October 1st to December 31st 2009.

Resolution 2:

The AGM is asked to approve the Committee’s recommendation that plot rents be increased by 20p per perch from January 2010. This proposed increase is the first since 2005 and if implemented will still leave the Association’s rents significantly below those charged by the City Council.

Best new plot awards:

The following awards will be presented at the AGM.

Ted Hill Cup for the best new plot in the Association goes to Mr. Hudson of plot 18 Grahams Field.

Best new plot on Field prizes will be awarded to: Mr Goldblatt 55a St Agnes, Mr. Gould 25b Davis Mr Collins 24 Grahams, Mr Gorman 24a Longs.

Please do try to join us

As you will see from the above agenda there are some very important issues coming up at our 2008 AGM. Please do try to attend. It is a good opportunity to meet your gardening neighbours and fellow members from other fields. The biscuits are very good too.
